Background[]
On November 30th, 1939, two months after the German Invasion of Poland, the Soviet Union invaded Finland, which started the so-called "Winter War". Unlike the historical one, USSR actually succeeded in capitulating Finland, forcing the survivors to flee to the Kingdom of Sweden and Germany. When the Soviets are "allies" with Germany, it is discovered that the fall of Helsinki and the defeat of Finland caused a massive influx of immigrants/refugees to both Sweden and Germany. Although no actions are taken, the tensions between Sweden-Germany and Russia keeps on rising. It is not until in February 17th, 1940, where the Soviets suddenly invaded the German occupied Poland. All countries are shocked, Britain is temporarily knocked out of the war, and France subsequently asks Germany to liberate Poland from the Soviet rule. Sweden, however, is also effected. They immediately declared war on the Soviet Union on February 26th, followed by Norway on March 5th and Denmark on March 14th. Surprisingly, the Soviets are able to get the Japanese on their side, along with Argentina and Mexico. Italy remains neutral until the battleship Conte di Cavour is sunk by a Soviet submarine near the Aegean sea. Greece entered the war on the Soviet in 1941, while Romania and Bulgaria declares war against Germany, France and the others on October 1941.
